Hammerson plc, Monument Mall, Newcastle City

The project involved the reconfiguration and refurbishment of a prominently located shopping mall, close to Grey’s Monument in Newcastle City, to remove the public mall area and atrium through the building to create full floorplates and alter the external elevations to significantly improve the visual quality within this historic area of the city. The building incorporates three listed facades, is partially within a conservation area and is surrounded by listed buildings.
